ChIPs – Women in IP
ChIPs was founded by seven women patent and IP leaders — including Anirma Gupta, Noreen Krall, Michelle Lee, Julie Mar-Spinola, Mona Sabet, Emily Ward, and Mallun Yen — from major technology companies in Silicon Valley with the mission of supporting and promoting the advancement, development and retention of women in technology and IP. The nonprofit organization has over 1,000 members including from the private sector, government and beyond. ChIPs leads initiatives and holds events to further their goals, including through substantive and inspiring speakers, relationship building, mentoring, education, best-practice sharing, training, community outreach and other forms of support.
